Music is a very important feature within trailers because not only can it help to establish genres and storylines but it can be used to make the audience feel a certain way, for this reason music is essential for horror trailers to build up tension felt by the audience and it can be used to scare them too.
Within our trailer we started off with a slow piano song which helps the audience feel sympathy towards Cassandra. For this we used a track called 'Mary' by Taylor Heyward.
For added effects within the trailer to help build tension we used a website called Incompetech and found a number of tracks on there called, Unlight, Red Letter and Awkward Meeting. We also used sound effects for example 'Spooky drone' which we found on a website called soundbible.
